Kid's ChurchC3 Church Balmain provides a Kids Church program that commences after praise and worship every Sunday morning. We have a fantastic team of dedicated kids church volunteers. The kids have a great time, make new friends, and learn about God, all in a safe environment. Pioneers (children in year 3-6) and Explorers (children in kindergarten – year 2) are in the larger kids room, where we use the Overflow Kids DVD based curriculum (developed by Brendon and Cathie Clancy from C3 Church Kawana Waters, Qld). This program is interactive and fast moving, where the children are taught over the course of the year ‘Who I am and What I have in God, Who Jesus is, God’s plan for me and the Power of the Holy Spirit is through praise & worship, prayer, messages, connect groups and games! Adventurers (21/2 - 6 year olds) and Climbers (1-21/2 year olds) are in the smaller room, where the Climbers have a great time playing and enjoying themselves (and letting mum and dad have a break J ). The Adventurers participate in a program which provides a foundation about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in a fun and safe environment. We also talk about lifeskills – being scared, happy, angry and how Jesus helps us. We use craft, song, dance, stories to illustrate these things, and we finish the morning with morning tea.
We also have a cry room in the main auditorium for parents who are feeding.
